Cupcake Decorating Contest!

Decorate 6 cupcakes and enter it them the Evette's Cupcakes and Bakery on
Saturday, March 8, 2014! The theme of the cupcakes is completely up to you so let your imagination loose and enter the competition. You may win one of the prizes from the various sponsors of our cupcake decorating contest! Grand Prize: IPAD 3!

Adult Division is open to ALL ADULTS
Youth Division is open to ALL YOUTH age 12 and under

RULES

1. Contest is open to anyone who would like to participate and who follows the rules and fills out a current entry form at time of entry.

2. Cupcakes must be decorated with decorating tips and/or materials equivalent to the art of Cake Decorating.

3. Every entry must be the work of one individual.

4. Evette's Cupcakes and Bakery reserves the right to refuse any entry deemed in poor taste and disqualify an entry known or suspected not to be the sole work of the entrant.

5. Judges reserve the right to re-classify any entry to another category.

6. Entries should be placed on Masonite, plywood, or heavy duty covered cardboard. Entries should also bear the entrants name and address on the side of the board.

 7. Entries may be photographed and used by the Evette’s Cupcakes and Bakery for promotional purposes.

8. Special table coverings and /or backdrops are not allowed.

9. Entries should all be identified by a title: Example: “Tasty Teddies”

10. Evette’s Cupcakes and Bakery assumes no responsibility for theft or damage. However, all possible precautions will be taken to avoid any such occurrences.

11. Cupcakes must not be removed without permission of the Contest Area

12. Unclaimed cupcakes will become the property of the Evette’s Cupcakes and Bakery  and will be destroyed.

13. This contest is sponsored by various enterprises and they will provide awards to the winners in both the Adult and Youth division.

 

 

 

Grand Opening!

We here at Evette's Cupcakes and Bakery are about to open our doors for the first time, and we could not be more excited! Our 1,300 square feet location at 123 Bakery Street is set to open to the public March 1^st! We’ve been hard at work every day getting the bakery ready to do what we love, bring joy to our customers!

Our location is a perfect choice. We just love the area. The hill, the character, the somewhat “undiscovered” idea of it here. We love the style of the older buildings, and the old church across the street reminds us of being in Europe, and it’s so peaceful to look at! We think this area is going to develop greatly in the next couple of years, and just had to be a part of the growth here.
Evette's Cupcakes and Bakery first brick and mortar location will function both as our production kitchen and a retail storefront and bakery. We will serve an expansive selection of our pastries, signature items, seasonal specialties, and daily specials. These could be anything from cupcakes to lobster tails to cannolis and sliced cakes and cheesecakes! On the weekends we will serve up fresh batches of our famous banana nut bread and home made apple pies. We will have a small savory menu with unique sandwiches, salads and delicious healthy little bites. We plan to serve a selection of coffee and teas that can be paired deliciously with our desserts!

The whole feel of the place will be quintessential Evette's. Retro, fun, colorful yet simple, clean, classy and comforting. We have created a space that makes people feel happy, warm and full of life. A place where they can relax and enjoy best dessert and treats, and feed a part of their soul. Dessert speaks to people. Food in general does, but dessert makes you feel special, makes your eyes light up, makes you smile, makes your heart race a bit, makes you remember being a kid and eating some cookies your mom made warm from the oven. That is what we will bring to customers. More than dessert, a feeling. That is what we love to do.
